This Panna Cotta recipe is a dream come true, it’s easy and so very creamy. Most of all it combines two great desserts : Panna Cotta and Apple pie. The hint of pistachio in the pie crust brings a nuttiness that cours through the richness of this dessert in a pleasant way. If you love it as much as I do, let me know!
Ingredients:
>For the pie case:
- My gluten free pie recipe here
>For the panna cotta: Serves 4

- 120gr of applesauce with a pinch of cinnamon
- 250ml of heavy whipping cream, at least 40% butterfat
- 150ml of milk
- 25gr of sugar
- optional topping: chocolate sauce
Instructions:
-Soak the gelatine leaves in a bowl of cold water until soft.
-Boil the cream, sugar and milk, until the sugar dissolves.
-Add the apple sauce and mix well.
-Squeeze the gelatin, add to the mixture and whisk until smooth and dissolved.
-Strain the mixture into your jars or molds and refrigerate for 3-4 hours, until set.
-To serve, turn the panna cotta onto the pie cases or crumble the pie on top. Drizzle with a little chocolate if you like and enjoy!
